Things to Remember Before Chatting in Teen Chat Rooms

You may heard many times in your life that learn from your mistakes, but when you commit a fatal mistake, it become very different to put them right or rectified  them.When you share your personal information to strangers, things can get terrible for you as well as your parents. You may get lured in telling the other person about your whereabouts, the name of your high school/university and that may put you in deep trouble especially when miscreants come around following you.

Other personal information such as your email address or probably your phone number thinking that you would have a better conversation with them even when you aren’t in the Teen Chat Rooms, but you don’t  know about the intention of the  other person they may be bad and can steal  your information

  • Don’t share your personal information with a stranger.

It includes your residential  address, your contact number, the school or university attend and your last name! When typing away in your computer, it’s easy to get carried away with wanting to tell your new friend all about yourself. Keep the personal details on the down low and instead talk about fun hobbies or the latest  movie ,drama  or novel.

  • Don’t download anything from anyone you don’t know.

Don’t  download  any file, photo or video from the stranger it may lead you to computer  viruses  or even hack . You need to remember that the person behind the screen you really don’t know him/her .

  • Don’t feel obligated to talk about anything that makes you uncomfortable

Don’t forget that chatting online is supposed to be fun! If a topic make you uncomfortable  leave the chat immediately.Under no circumstances should you feel forced to talk about anything inappropriate.

  • Don’t meet any stranger until it’s been so long

If you are going to meet someone in person after the talk of few days then try to avoid it. If you can’t avoid then prefer the safe places like any public place ,park or restaurant where meeting to stranger is safe. These are safe to go and you don’t have to worry about a safety issue.
