Chat4Smile respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its platform to do the same. It is our policy to respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on Chat4Smile infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notice to us. Your notice must include all of the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorised representative
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
• Identification of the specific material on Chat4Smile that is claimed to be infringing, with enough information to locate it (e.g. the URL)
• Your contact information, including name, postal address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Chat4Smile does not operate the live chat rooms — these are powered by the CodyChat platform (by Boomcoding) and embedded via iframe. For copyright complaints regarding content posted by users inside the chat rooms, please also contact Boomcoding directly through the CodyChat website.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to us. Counter-notifications must comply with the DMCA and include the relevant required information. Please use our contact form for counter-notifications.
